Jointly produced by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Government, ¡°Lift Up Your Veil ¡ª Xinjiang Is a Good Place,¡± featuring dances, songs, instrumental music and poetry recitation, displayed the great social and economic achievements in Xinjiang since the 18th National Congress of the Party.

The Multiethnic Children's Choirs in Concert, which took place Wednesday night at Shenzhen Grand Theater, gathered children choirs of three ethnic groups, with some from as far as 5,400 kilometers away from Shenzhen, to convey the beauty of ethnic cultures. The event, supported by the Green Pine Care Foundation, aimed to promote multiculturalism and inheritance of traditional arts of all ethnic groups.

Hundreds of thousands of people gathered last night at the Shenzhen Civic Square and atop Lianhua Hill to watch the May Day-themed light show delivered by 1.18 million sets of lights installed on 43 buildings in the Futian CBD.

Shenzhen Bay Park, which has been receiving more than 200,000 visits every day since April 30, is offering a variety of cultural events for visitors to enjoy, including the 2023 Shenzhen Bay Summer Concert. The concert, which is part of the 2023 Shenzhen Park Festival, is performed by the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, the China National Opera & Dance Drama Symphony Orchestra, the China Broadcasting Chinese Orchestra and famous singers, and features music pieces from home and abroad. The concert is held at the Sunrise Theater of Shenzhen Bay Park every day from May 1 to 3. Entry is free.
