Diverse celebrations of the Chinese New Year have sent festive vibes across the city as people from various cultures express their good wishes for the Year of the Rabbit.

Shenzhen¡¯s 2023 Spring Festival Flower Fair, a traditional event that spices up the festive atmosphere of the Chinese New Year, opened today at its main venue in Gangxia, Futian District and 10 subvenues. With a total of 2,900 flower stalls, the fair will run through Jan. 21 and will also be held at a number of fixed flower markets across the city. Shoppers can buy not only flowers but also Chinese New Year decorations.
